Couldn't connect with Sam at all. I can't understand why you would want to be treated the way he does, and it made it impossible for me to keep reading. I understand where it might work for other people, but his lack of self esteem, and dangerous choices made me question his ability to freely consent. The age difference was not for me either. I don't understand why Mitch, who seems to understand Sam's problems, would want to treat him that way. I guess that that sort of relationship just doesn’t work for me (with rare exception). No judgment meant, just makes me uncomfortable.
