Nothing like I thought it would be, and I loved it even more for that. In the hands of a lesser author this would have been a cliched smut fest, but the author chose to treat her characters, and the situation they were in, in a much more complicated, and nuanced way, and while it was still a very sexy read it felt emotionally honest.
