An interesting fantasy. I liked the characters, and the world building, but was a little frustrated by the stale sexual dynamics. A bit too much like a het romance in that aspect for me. It didn't ruin the story for me, but it was a bit trite. It made me glad that the sexual and romantic aspects were only a small part of the story, and not the entire focus. Other than that it was really well done. I loved the idea of the floating islands.
