Not entirely impressed by this one. I was especially annoyed at how much pressure was exerted on Ethan to forgive Aidan especially by Ethan's brother. If someone broke my brother like that by leaving I would not be in favor of him taking him back like it was something Ethan owed Aidan. Aidan comes across as a bit controlling, and arrogant, and to me it made all of his apologies seem less sincere. Also for a story supposedly set in my home state it felt lacking in sense of place, like the author just picked a state at random. Not too many towns in Maine have professional fire fighters, or a science building at their high school especially a small town in western Maine.
