The story flowed very strangely with lots of time jumps until the end. It kept me from feeling invested in the characters, their situation, or their supposed bond. The resolution was strange, and neither sexy nor romantic. The agreement between two characters (both of whom where in love with other people) was just too strange for me, and I kept waiting for the main character to wake up and end the awkward encounter. The gfy aspects of the ending really didn't work although I have to give the author some credit for the ending sex scenes, and the balance of power. It was nice to read a story that didn't feel like recycled het romance cliches. One very small bright sport in an otherwise unmemorable book.
